Information Exchange
During the telehealth visit, the information will be exchanged via teleconference, landline phone, cellular phone, and or online chat. These methods of communication are not as secure as a face-to-face encounter. By requesting a telehealth visit you acknowledge that some personal health information will be communicated in a manner that is not encrypted. Please refrain from emailing personal information other than your age, gender, and the basic reason for your visit. Once you are granted access to the secure portal as part of the registration, you will be asked for more detailed information.
Costs
Telehealth is both convenient and affordable. Telehealth visits are not billed by our practice to any insurer, as they may be considered a non-covered service. The patient is always responsible for the telehealth charges. We are offering a full telehealth visit at an introductory low price of $50 to celebrate its addition to our services.
